Last week, around 20 students from our HEROES partner institutions spent the week using Aalborg, Denmark, as their playground for new ideas and innovative solutions. Most of the participants are members of the HEROES Student Council, working together to explore innovation methods and develop new approaches to current challenges.
The goal is to educate students as innovation experts who can facilitate development and innovation processes. It may sound ambitious but these are exactly the kinds of skills needed to identify solutions to complex societal challenges and strengthen collaboration and communities across Europe.
The programme is a HEROES Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), bringing students from several HEROES partner institutions together to work closely across borders and disciplines.
Participating institutions represented by the students:
- Thomas More University of Applied Sciences
- Vilniaus kolegija | Higher Education Institution (VIKO)
- Polytechnic University of Beja
- Deggendorf Institute of Technology
- University College of Northern Denmark (Professionshøjskolen UCN)
- Fontys University of Applied Sciences
- Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SEAMK)
