HEROES Code Week 2026

During October, we invite pupils across Europe to take part in this exciting online game! They can solve daily coding missions featuring puzzles, cryptography and historical mysteries. The browser-based challenge combines Python, computational thinking and gamified learning. Participants can choose between a German and an English version. For teachers who would like to integrate the challenge into their lessons, we have also provided a teacher’s manual with guidance and classroom activities – explore the resources and bring the challenge into your classroom!
