The HEROES alliance gathers in Vilnius for its fourth Semi-annual Partner Conference on May 19–21, 2026, hosted by Vilniaus kolegija (VIKO). Over two and a half days, partners from the alliance’s nine universities of applied sciences will work across several active workstreams. These include testing the new interactive HEROES micro-credential designer, reviewing the progress of the six HEROES research pods (working on Agriculture and Food, Education and Inclusion, Circular Economy, Regional Development, Digital Transformation, and Care and Well-being), and looking ahead at the future joint master’s programme and much more. The Board of Presidents will also host a peer conversation with Prof. Ineta Dabašinskienė, Rector of Vytautas Magnus University, exchanging perspectives between two European university alliances. The conference brings together governance bodies, working groups, and student representatives for joint sessions, cross-package meetings, and exchange. A summary will be shared on this website after the event.
