We invite you to an online training realized as part of the professional development program of the HEROES alliance employees that will focus on the integration of interactive game principles and digital technologies into the educational process. Main topics and benefits: During the presentation, conducted in the form of theoretical background, case studies, simulations, games and practical demonstrations, we will focus on: Game-based learning and gamification: How to use game principles for more effective learning, especially in e-learning. Challenge-based learning: How to practically design innovative challenge-based learning activities in cooperation with regional stakeholders. Technology and innovation: Frameworks for the implementation of augmented reality (AR/VR) and the opportunities and limitations of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and assessment. · Effective blended learning: Modern blended learning approaches. · Practical demonstration: Detailed introduction and practical demonstration of work in the editor of the engu platform presented by the Strand Forge team with a focus on global challenges (e.g. ecology, biodiversity, sustainability, cybersecurity, AI). Who is the training for? Primarily for employees of partner universities of the HEROES alliance – academics, lecturers, teachers, tutors, course authors and developers. Secondarily for students at universities, higher vocational schools or lifelong learners working with the tools. Form: Online, held in English. Platform: MS Teams (technically provided by the ICV MENDELU team). Duration: Approx. 2-3 hours. Recording: The virtual session will be recorded and made available on the virtual campus.
