Are you a student interested in sharing real student experiences on Instagram? Would you like to be part of an international student team and contribute your voice to a European university alliance?

We invite students from all HEROES partner institutions to apply as student volunteers for Our Instagram HEROES — a student-led Instagram initiative that highlights HEROES initiatives from student perspective, everyday student life, learning experiences, and collaboration across campuses.

What will you do?

As a volunteer, you will: 

• Work as part of an international student team, developing and shaping ideas with guidance and feedback from HEROES communication officers
• Create Instagram content (reels, photos, stories, carousels, memes) based on your own student experience, showing how student life, learning, collaboration, and HEROES initiatives look at your institution.

You do not need to be a content creator or influencer. Authenticity and curiosity matter more than technical skills. Just one of the requirements of this role is communicating in English.

What do you gain?

By joining Our Instagram HEROES, you will:

•  Become part of an international student team within the HEROES Alliance, contributing to an initiative with real visibility across Europe
• Gain hands-on experience in communication and storytelling, with guidance, advice, and feedback from HEROES communication officers and communication professionals at partner institutions
• Develop digital, communication, and intercultural collaboration skills through practical, real-life experience
• Receive a certificate of participation after active involvement in the programme for at least six months.

Who can apply?

You can apply if you:

• Are currently enrolled at a HEROES partner institution
• Are interested in communication, storytelling, or social media
• Are open to sharing your perspective and experiences
• Are motivated to collaborate in an international environment

No prior experience in social media or content creation is required. Selection is based primarily on motivation, interest, and alignment with the values of the HEROES Alliance.
