As a member of the HEROES staff, you have access to flexible learning opportunities and alternative pathways for digital upskilling and employability, specifically designed for working professionals. These include online courses and ‘MOOCs for credits’ that support upskilling, reskilling, and enhanced employability. The focus is on developing skills relevant to the twin green and digital transitions, as well as transversal (soft) skills, leading to digitally badged micro-credentials. Our programmes are tailored to professional needs and societal challenges.
New opportunities to join HEROES activities are being prepared. Calls for staff will be published here shortly.
Staff members will be able to join cross-institutional working groups, contribute to the development of shared processes, and support initiatives that strengthen collaboration across the alliance. These activities provide opportunities to connect with colleagues from nine institutions and contribute to broader systemic change.
Collaboration among staff helps align procedures, improve communication flows, and introduce shared tools and practices. This joint work contributes to long-term institutional change by making processes more coherent across the alliance and enabling smoother cooperation between partners.
Participation offers opportunities to develop new skills, exchange knowledge with peers from other countries, and gain experience in international project work. This strengthens institutional capacities while supporting individual professional growth.
Depending on their roles, staff may engage in coordinating activities, supporting teaching and research initiatives, implementing shared digital tools, helping organise events, or contributing to communication and administrative processes that connect institutions.
We are preparing stories from administrative and support staff who help drive the development of the HEROES Alliance. Soon you will find reflections on behind-the-scenes work, cross-institutional collaboration, and professional experiences that contribute not only to our daily operations but also to the broader institutional changes shaping our alliance.
The HEROES Virtual Campus is currently under development. Access will be enabled here as soon as the platform goes live.
